I have just come back from spending a weekend away sewing with one of my quilting groups. It was a lovely weekend, very relaxing and lots of sewing, talking and eating!
One of the things that i love about a weekend like this is that I get the chance to make progress on all those projects I have started. This weekend I managed to achieve so much. I always seem to have lots of different projects 'on the go' at any one time and it is lovely to be able to sit down and work my way through them.
I finished a quilt for my sister in laws birthday gift - just a very simple nine patch alternating block with simple stippling quilting. It was so quick to do and I know that she will love it - the colours are the ones she loves! It will be making it's way over to Western Australia in the next few days.
